I’m here to give you a quick peek at how I organize my classroom library. I have all of my books labeled with a sticker that corresponds to what basket it goes in. Some of them are sorted by the genre of the book and some are sorted by favorite authors. I don’t have my books sorted by level because my students choose these books as interest books. They have other (leveled) books in their book boxes that come from our school’s book room.
Welcome to the “Deep in the Heart of Texas” blog hop! Over 40 Texas teacher bloggers have joined together to share what we love about our state as well as ideas and freebies that we love. You will also have the opportunity to enter to win TpT products and/or TpT gift certificates by entering using the rafflecopters included in each post. Down at the bottom, you will see all of the blogs participating in the hop. Just click and you will be taken to their posts. We hope you love what you find. Happy Valentine’s Day!
I’ll get right to it! Here is my classroom tour for the 2014-2015 school year.
Did anyone else feel like Earth Day kind of snuck up on us this year? I think I felt that way because last week was our end of the 6 weeks and we had a holiday on Friday. Is Earth Day usually this close to Easter, too? Anyway, here is a rundown of what I’ll be teaching this week for Earth Day!
(I hope you survived the chaos yesterday! Our party was at the end of the day and I tried to keep the rest of the day somewhat normal… but they were still hyped up!)
What is your discipline plan like in your classroom? This year I found the ADORABLE clip chart made by A Cupcake for the Teacher and let me just tell you how much I love it! And the best part is that it’s FREE!
