Target $ Spot Addict

Kindergarten Crayons just posted about how she is totally addicted to the Target Dollar Spot and I just had to tell ya’ll about the fantastic stuff I found yesterday! As I’m sure you all can agree- it is so hard to stay away! I absolutely CANNOT go to Target without stopping at the Dollar Spot first! :)

I got a-dor-a-ble write on/wipe off jungle animal clocks! They go perfectly with my safari themed classroom :) I can’t wait to use them next year!
Next, I got this shower curtain for $2.50 and I am going to spend a little time to make a DIY hundreds chart. A little time, sweat, and a yardstick oughtta do the trick! My little firsties will have so much fun throwing bean bags onto this and being able to work with it using their whole body! I can’t wait!

OH OH OH! I know it isn’t Target Dollar Spot, but I have to show ya’ll the stuffed animals I got at Mardel for 50% off! I can’t wait to have these as a special reading buddy for my kiddos! (Regular $9.99, got each one for $5!)

And in case you didn’t know, Mardel is having a sale: 20% off all education supplies on July 21st!! I can’t wait to stock up on some of my favorites that are usually a tad more than I like to spend.
(Like this, this, and this!)

What is on your list to pick up on July 21st??

Happy shopping, fellow teachers!

  1. I absolutely LOVE the safari theme! I am still in school to be a teacher, but I think when I finally have my own classroom, I will go with the safari theme. It is just too cute!

  2. I think there is something in teacher blood that attracts us to Target. The animals are very cute! If you have a Kohl's near you, they always have $5 stuffed animals and books, and part of the proceeds go to charity.
