I’m headed back to school tomorrow. I’ve been thoroughly trained during this last week of PD and my classroom is mostly ready. My lesson plans are written, copies are made, and books are ready. Everyone is in full on prep mode! I’ve been seeing a lot of thoughtful, reasonable, and well written blog posts out there about all the things you should or should not do in your classroom. But what kind of blogger would I be if I didn’t add my 2 cents into the mix? So here I go! :)
I recently read an article about 10 things teachers want to say to parents, but can’t. It inspired me to write 4 things that teachers can say to parents. I believe that an open and honest relationship with parents is key. A good rapport between parents and teachers is one of the most important parts of a student’s education. Here are 4 things that I’d like parents to know about me as a teacher.
Hello sweet friends! I just wanted to share with you a quick and easy back to school gift that I actually made with stuff I already had in my house! I am going to give this little gift to my teammates, but you could give it to anyone in your school. If you are a parent, this would also be a great gift for your child’s teacher!
