We haven’t had many snow days this year, so our 100th day of school was February 7th. Here are a few pictures of the activities we did! Since it was on a Friday, I actually didn’t have a ton of time due to library and spelling tests. However, the kids loved what we did get to do!
In case you are a procrastinator like me were too busy this week and haven’t made your V-day cards for your kids yet, I have a FREEBIE for you! :)
My goodies from today! My kiddos (and their parents) are so sweet to think of me today.
We brainstormed and made a thinking map of how we can show love…
Here is a cute art activity I did with my kids today for them to take home to their parents. A little late, but the snow days totally threw everything off. I don’t think parents will mind! :)
I decided we would just celebrate Valentine’s Day all week, so today we brainstormed what love is and how you can show it and put it all into a heart themed thinking map. The kids loved it and they are just too sweet! Read more
This is a really easy and super cute idea for Valentines for your class that I got from Cara over at The First Grade Parade.
First, trace your hand and then curl up the two fingers with a pencil. Cara used a straw in hers, but I found these cute V-Day pencils on the dollar aisle @ Target and wanted to use those instead!
Just tape whatever you choose to the back of the hand. Voila- easy and super cheap!
Here is an ABC order activity I made last night because some of my students are having a hard time with the abc order skill.
