One of my favorite things is teaching my kiddos all about character education and what it looks like to be a good person. I try my best to model for them how I’d like them to act. It would be totally normal for you to hear me call my students ‘Sir’ and ‘Ma’am’ throughout the day. I apologize to them when I make a mistake. I purposely leave my kids alone for a minute or 2 just so I can talk about integrity when I return.
Well, this is what I’m currently working with in my classroom. It’s just about time to get set up and it’s going to be TOUGH!
I’ve been doing quite a bit at home under the AC, so going up in the heat is not high on my priority list!
Here is how I made my very handy lunch count board and attendance tracker. This is such a helpful classroom management tool!
I’ve seen a lot of pins on Pinterest and gotten a few emails about my student info setup for the beginning of the year. My school does a super fun “Sneak a Peek” the Thursday before school starts, and so this is what was on each student’s desk when they came to check it out.
I took these pictures yesterday after I left school at 7:45pm. I tried to post last night but I was so exhausted I fell asleep with my computer in my lap and my hands on the keyboard! Luckily I woke up and decided to put it away and post a day late instead. I knew my bloggy friends would understand! :)
